We’re in the CrossFit Brigade building on the North Shore of Chattanooga, right behind the law building. It’s easy to find and we have plenty of parking. Walk into the building and then take an immediate left and you’ll see the sign down the hall.
Come in comfortable clothes you can move in—like yoga pants, joggers, or athletic wear. You’ll stay fully dressed during your session, so no need to change or bring anything fancy.
Each session is about 45 minutes. First we will go over the intake form that you’ll fill out when you make your appointment, then do a postural assessment. We will thoroughly discuss your issues and then do the session.
We work with everyone from newborns to 90-year-olds. Most of our clients are in the 45–75 range. We also see a ton of kids and teens (ages 10–18)—including athletes, autistic kids, and those with scoliosis, injuries, or other movement challenges.
Yes! For chronic or more complex issues, we offer 1- or 2-week immersion programs. People come from all over for these when nothing else has worked.
Not at all. The Hunter Method is a completely different approach. We use interactive muscle therapy—gentle touch and movement that communicates directly with the brain to reset muscle tone. No stretching, no deep pressure, no gadgets. This massage is just done in a unique way. We just aim to relax the muscles back to optimal tone, and the body adjusts itself. You are an amazing healing machine.
Absolutely. Many people bring their kids, spouses, or parents. We even show you how to help them at home if you want. The gym has a lobby where they can sit outside too.
Yes. We see a lot of people who’ve already tried everything else—and many find relief here for the first time. We don’t diagnose, but we do support your body’s natural ability to heal.
Check out the graph on the 1-1 care page. We tracked 252 clients to answer this exact question. It seems that the magic number was 6 sessions but sometimes people need more care, or even regular care. We don’t do any “yearly plans” like some massage and chiro places. When your body makes the change the changes are much longer lasting. If we feel like you are not a good fit for Hunter Method you will still learn a lot about your body, and be glad you came. We don’t take just a handful a year. There’s no pressure and no cookie-cutter plans.
Click the button below to book your session or fill out a short form to apply for immersion care. You can also call the number on the 1-1 care page for Helen. We’ll follow up with details and next steps. There is an approval process for immersions. We know who does best, and make sure you get the most value for your time and money.
The immersions start at $2,500. Each person’s case is unique and how much time, and care is needed varies. It also depends on if you only see Stephanie or split time with other certified therapists. We go over everything before you are approved.
